Se per qualche motivo si tralascia di falciare l’erba regolarmente,  ecco quel che ci si ritrova in giardino in autunno:  una moltitudine di funghetti minuscoli di ogni forma e colore… Il clima in Finlandia e’ sempre secco,  anche in inverno con la neve:  e’ freddo ma secco;  l’unica stagione in cui c’e’ umidita’ nell’aria e’ proprio l’autunno.  Infatti la nebbiolina qui e’ un fenomeno tipicamente autunnale.

Among the Leaves of Grass.     

If for any reason you leave the grass uncut for some time,  this is what you will find in your garden in autumn:  a multitude of tiny unwanted mushrooms of surprising shapes and colours.  Climate is usually rather dry in Finland,  even in winter with snow,  but not in Autumn:  this is the only season when you can sense humidity in the air.  This humidity will cause the light fog typical of the season.
