Brutti ma buoni.

Non parliamo dei deliziosi dolcetti ben noti, ma di funghi piuttosto disgustosi a vedersi: le Spugnole (Morchella esculenta, Morchella semilibera), in finnico: Huhtasieni. Sono funghi primaverili, (questi nelle foto ci sono nati in giardino in aprile) e pur avendo una percentuale di tossicita’, se opportunamente cotti sembra siano ottimi. Si trovano sia in Italia che in Finlandia.

Ugly but good. These are spring mushrooms, they are called “Morels” and they are toxic, so you need to know how to cook them and how long, in order to taste them. We found them in our garden a couple of years ago in april but we did not pick them. They grow in Italy too.
